Impact Factory Residency

Have a cause, need a solution?

The Residency helps young people create social impact projects and organizations. Residents are in the program for one year and receive comprehensive support for their Initiative including a 501(c)3 status, mentorship, and other administrative resources to develop their ideas into sustainable solutions.

Examples:

  • Nonprofit Organizations

  • Fundraising campaigns

  • School clubs

  • Short-Term/One-Time Service Projects

Impact Factory Fellowship

Have skills, need a cause?

The Fellowship connects high school students and young adults with nonprofits to provide pro bono services.  Fellow are deployed to an organization that has a specific need that aligns with the Fellow's background and technical experience.

Current Fellowships:

  • Film (photography & videography at events)

  • Digital Marketing (social media management)

  • Technology (website design & software engineering)

Example Resident Initiatives
  • Fiscal Sponsorship: Automatic 501(c)3 nonprofit status

  • Financial Management: Bank account access with oversight

  • Guided Mentorship: Monthly meetings with career professionals

  • Administrative Support: Legal, accounting, and technology services

  • Network Access: Connections to donors and industry experts

Factory Framework

Residents follow our structured curriculum with four strategic checkpoints: Research & Planning, Operations & Strategy, Implementation, and Evaluation & Growth.

Each checkpoint includes specific milestones and deliverables to ensure systematic progress toward sustainable impact.

• Currently in workforce with career experience
• College degree preferred but not required
• Able to pass background check
• Monthly virtual meetings with assigned Resident

No cost to participate as a Mentor

• Recognized business and civic leader
• Business management and growth experience
• Extensive network of local colleagues
• Recruit 2 mentors annually + provide strategic counsel

$500 annual contribution required
