Bob Hopkins
Chief Development Officer
Bob joined Philanthropy Kids as Chief Development Officer in 2013 with the acquisition of PAVE: Philanthropy And Volunteerism in Education. Bob leads a team of enthusiastic relationship builders who drive the revenue operations of the organization.
Bob has led the Scott Murray Scholarship Fund as Executive Director where he raised hundreds of thousands of dollars to award scholarships to Dallas-area kids in need. Previously, Bob founded PAVE, a nonprofit that taught kids the values of giving and community service. Bob also founded Philanthropy World and Philanthropy in Texas magazines that recognized philanthropists across different industries.
Bob has served as an adjunct faculty member at Dallas College, University of Texas at Arlington, Tarrant County College, Collin College, and Tarleton State University.
Bob has held a range of leadership and consulting roles with nonprofit organizations such as the Shelton School, the Ireland Fund, the National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence, and Global Community for Education.
Bob attended the University of Kansas where he studied Spanish Education and received a Masters in Communication from Kansas State University.
