Ahan Mukherjee and his team at WeCare are making a real impact in their community through their nonprofit organization, WeCare. Founded with the mission of creating on-demand care packages for local charities, WeCare has been successful in raising funds and collecting supplies for those in need. Mukherjee brought WeCare to the Impact Factory in early 2023 with a goal to expand their impact and grow the organization.

Utilizing the resources of the Impact Factory, WeCare raised $500 and delivered 100 care packages filled with food, toys, and lifestyle essentials to DFW Refugee Outreach Services (DFWROS), a local nonprofit that works with refugees across the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex to help them successfully adapt to their new society.

The Impact Factory is a social impact incubator that provides space, resources, and support to help young social entrepreneurs like Mukherjee create and launch their initiatives. The incubator offers programs, mentorship, and workshops to help its residents develop the skills they need to succeed in their endeavors.

WeCare is a great example of the impact that young people can have in their communities. The success of WeCare is a testament to the power of social entrepreneurship and the importance of supporting young people as they work to make the world a better place.
